Combien y a-t-il de maires en France ?

Il y a environ 35 000 maires en France, soit un par commune. Civiqo recense actuellement 34 476 maires en exercice, avec leur biographie, leur mandat, leur commune et leur attribution politique officielle.

Comment trouver le maire de ma commune ?

Utilisez le filtre département + la recherche par nom de commune. Vous pouvez aussi accéder directement à la page d'un maire via son slug (`/elus-locaux/[prenom-nom-commune]`). Chaque fiche maire expose son rôle, son mandat, sa profession, et le cas échéant son parti politique.

Quelle différence entre maire et président d'EPCI ?

Le maire est l'élu de la commune. Le président d'EPCI (Établissement Public de Coopération Intercommunale : communauté de communes, agglomération, métropole) est l'élu désigné par les conseillers communautaires pour diriger l'intercommunalité. Un maire peut être en parallèle président d'EPCI mais ce sont deux mandats distincts.

Pas encore directement. Civiqo expose les informations publiques disponibles. Pour contacter un élu, passez par la mairie ou par les coordonnées officielles publiées sur le site de la commune. À terme, les élus inscrits sur Civiqo pourront recevoir des messages directement via la plateforme.
